Medicare Fall Enrollment: Review Your Coverage

As someone who cares deeply about making a difference for my Medicare members, I want to remind you that the annual Medicare Fall Enrollment period is right around the corner—October 15 through December 7. This is your window to review your current coverage, make changes, or tailor your plan for the year ahead.

Looking ahead, out-of-pocket costs for Part D will be capped at $2,100 in 2026, with an estimated cap of $2,400 for 2027. For those with Medicare Advantage, annual maximums can reach $9,250. Be sure to keep an eye out for the annual notice arriving late in the third quarter—it will highlight any changes in cost, benefits, networks, or plan availability. This information is key as you make your decisions for next year.

It’s important not to assume all plans are alike. Compare your options carefully—ensure your preferred doctors, prescriptions, pharmacies, and even your travel or relocation plans are included. Your care needs are unique, and your coverage should reflect that.

If you’re already enrolled in a Medicare Advantage plan, there’s also another window from January 1 through March 31 to switch plans or return to Original Medicare. And remember, free counseling is available if you need guidance. I’m here to help you make the most informed choices for your health and peace of mind.
